Robin Hood’s Bay, England
After her husband, Thomas, died, Lucy Allen collapsed in a trench of sorrow. During his life, dear Thomas helped her cope with grief after grief, troubles galore, and the loss of too many children. Charles, Mary, Alice, Kate, Helen, and Henry were taken by Jesus, to Heaven. Godfrey, Herbert, and Thomas were lost to ambition. They all found careers at sea, or abroad. Lucille and Elizabeth married and moved away. They rarely came home.
