As long as she could remember, Margaret feared storms and sinking ships. She was raised beside the sea. Even as a child she knew too many dead. Too many dear people who were tragically, suddenly, dead in the ocean. While growing up she promised herself she would never wed a sailor, never need to join those widows celebrating sad occasions by throwing flowers at the harbor, as they mourned their lost husbands. But who did she love?
